How to Get to Amrita Island from Connecticut
There are many ways to get to Amrita Island, but so far the best way is to drive. Now, there are two main ways of getting to Amrita Island via the road – one is via Connecticut, and the other is via Boston. This section details how you will get to Amrita Island via Connecticut.
The first thing you have to do is look for the 95, and take it South towards Providence. When you get to Providence, go East – that's the direction to Cape Cod – and just keep following the road. You'll have to get through Rhode Island before entering Massachusetts. Then take the Cape Cod exit (Route 25 East) and follow it, crossing the Bourne Bridge and reaching the first rotary. From there, you take the SECOND exit and follow Route 28 southward. This will take you to Wood's Hole. Keep driving for another three miles, or until you reach the next rotary. Then take the next exit – the 151 – and at the end of the ramp, turn left. Follow that route until you find a traffic light, and cross the intersection as well as the railroad tracks that will eventually follow. Look for a flashing light and cross another intersection – keep driving until you see a baseball field on the left side of the road. Eventually, there will be a fork in the road: stay on the extreme right side and take Garnett Road. Follow that and keep your eyes on the left – there will be a sign that says “Amrita Island”. Turn left there, cross the famed stone bridge, and you're in Amrita Island!
