Why Go to Amrita Island?

Why go to Amrita Island when it is in fact a residential place? Well, this is because it's bloody beautiful there, not to mention the fact that it offers a whole lot of rental homes that are ideal for your family vacation. Most of these rental homes have the benefit of being near the beach in the Cape Cod area, and have better than adequate amenities. There are waterfront homes that allow you to take in the beautiful waters surrounding Amrita Island. The beaches of Amrita Island also happen to have a reputation for nice, warm waters coupled with nice, cool breezes – who wouldn't want to rent a cottage for a vacation.

Apart from the general merits of staying in Amrita Island – whether temporarily or for the rest of your mortal life – there are other things of note that you may want to go to Amrita Island for. For one thing, the lovely stone bridge that leads up to the island is quite a sight to see, and is more than worthy of being photographed by enamored vacationers – it's actually pretty famous. For another, Amrita Island is also home to the “Love is Eternal” House, located near the end of the island. According to local legend, a local man so loved his wife that he built a beautiful house for her – the name comes from the words over the doorway of the mausoleum in the property, where she was buried. The story and the actual structures on the property were obviously inspired by the Taj Mahal.
